About Us

Renaissance Motors has been proudly serving the community since November 2017. Our shop was founded by Randee, whose passion for cars was sparked during her childhood in her dad’s mechanic shop. Growing up in a family that specialized in restoring classic 1950s Oldsmobiles, Randee learned firsthand the importance of quality work and honest service. These values form the foundation of Renaissance Motors, where every customer can expect exceptional care and transparency.

Though Randee is the official owner, Cory, our Shop Manager, is an invaluable partner. With over 35 years of experience, an automotive degree, and ASE certifications, Cory is the go-to expert for our team of talented technicians. He even spent time as an instructor at Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, giving him the depth of knowledge needed to handle the toughest vehicle issues. While he doesn’t own the shop on paper, Cory’s leadership, expertise, and dedication make him an essential part of Renaissance Motors.

Together, Randee and Cory have built a shop where honesty, top-tier repairs, and friendly customer service come together. We’ve faced our share of challenges, especially during Covid, but with hard work and a commitment to excellence, we’ve rebuilt and earned our reputation as a trusted auto repair shop.

What Sets Us Apart?

At Renaissance Motors, our core values of transparency, integrity, and trustworthiness are the backbone of our business. We believe in clear communication, providing detailed estimates, and ensuring that no work is done without your approval. Our team doesn’t just throw parts at a problem—we dig deep to find real solutions, giving you peace of mind that your car is in good hands.

As a woman-owned business, we take pride in creating a welcoming environment where every customer feels respected and valued. Our goal is simple: provide the best possible service at fair prices, while making sure you leave our shop confident in your vehicle’s performance.

A Lifelong Passion for Cars

Randee’s love for cars began in her family’s shop in Metairie. She spent summers running parts and learning the ropes from her dad. At just 14, she and her brother were handed a Chilton’s manual and told to replace the engine in her first car—a project that solidified her passion for automotive work. From oil changes to major repairs, Randee found her true calling under the hood, and that hands-on experience is what drives her dedication to Renaissance Motors today.

Life Outside the Shop

When they’re not running Renaissance Motors, Randee and Cory love to travel with their daughter, Kaydee. Music is a big part of their lives, and Kaydee has already attended more concerts than most adults. From seeing Garth Brooks at the infamous “Garth-quake” to meeting Motley Crue, the family travels far and wide for live shows. Kaydee, not even 3 years old, has seen Eric Church, Joan Jett, and Hootie & the Blowfish, just to name a few.

Randee and Cory also believe in giving back to the community. Every year, they sponsor families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they host an annual car repair giveaway to help someone get back on the road. The Renaissance Motors team also takes part in the Annual Hospice House Crawfish Cookoff, a tradition they’ve proudly supported for the past three years.

At Renaissance Motors, we’re not just about fixing cars—we’re about supporting our community, creating lasting relationships, and doing the right thing, every time.
